Shake & Swirl is one of the top mobile bars and sommelier services in Singapore. Founded since 2009, we provides staff on both bar and wine services for more than 500 events from intimate house parties to wine trade shows as well as large scale festive parties. Our aim is to serve great cocktails and share wine knowledge for everyone, not just for the rich and famous. Our team of cocktail bartenders and sommeliers are hand-picked for their personality and charisma, as well as their cocktail making skills and wine expertise. We do not employ robots to serve drinks. We prefer to entertain with a human touch. 

Our team consists of award winning mixologists, flair bartenders, bartenders, certified sommeliers, servers and female brand ambassadors. 

We conduct wine/whisky appreciation and cocktail making sessions and also assist in wine trade shows. In addition, one of our services include the handling and serving of rare and fine wines by our certified sommeliers. 

Shake 'n' Swirl is also one of the few bar event company insured with public liability and work injury compensation.

Kim Kiat or Kim which people affectionately called him graduated from SHATEC with a NTC 2 in Food & Beverage Operations in 1999 and Diploma in Hotel Management in 2003. He was also the winner of the Shatec Australian Wine Educational Award and 2nd runner up in the National Skills Competition in 1999. In addition, Kim was awarded scholarship for both the NTC 2 and Diploma in SHATEC.

With over 20 years of experience in the Wine and Food & Beverage Industry in Singapore, Kim had worked in various hotels, country clubs, restaurants and bars.

In addition to the bar events experience, Kim is also an in-house sommelier for Dr N.K Yong and a highly sought after sommelier for handling and serving rare and fine wine for Private Wine Connoisseur, Wine Trade Show and Wine Fair. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling to wineries and distillery around the world and had also did a season of wine harvesting and pruning at a prestige winery, Egon Muller in Germany.

Kim holds the WSET Level 2 with distinction in Spirits, French Wine Scholar (FWS) and Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW). He has also completed DIAGEO’s Scotch Program conducted by Global Scotch Whisky Masters. He is the co-owner of Nutmeg & Clove Bar, Asia's 50th Best Bar 2017 & 2018 and Finalist of the Best New Cocktail Bar at the World Gourmet Summit 2015.
